Creepy Tale Treasury

Making an Etsy treasury is becoming a luxury for me as my time is spread very thinly these days. I was working yesterday and didn't feel up to going out last night so I decided to indulge in a little fun and creativity while getting in the mood for Halloween. 

The result was this creepy treasury to showcase listings from fellow members of the Top Treasury team. Click on the image to see it better. The story is linear, but a little open to your own interpretation. Who pushed whom in the water and left them to drown and why? Tell it your own way.....mwahahaha

Autumn brings with it a noticeable change in treasury trends. Tones switch from pastels and bright colour blocks to seasonal browns, russets and golden hues. Beach and travel themes are replaced with back to school, knits and nature.

Somehow, the same brown gemstone earrings made it into a second treasury this week. 'End of the Day' by Jill and Cathy of Envy Alley feels exactly as the title suggests, featuring that hazy, evening light found in late Summer/early Autumn. Thanks ladies for including my work in this atmospheric list.

This crisp and clear dark green treasury by Christa of OilpaintingsChrista is so very tempting! Thanks for including my Irish sea glass pendant! For some reason I want a mint tea now.....(ok, I meant a mojito really but we'll go with the tea...)

Wow! A second stunning treasury popped up in my inbox this weekend. Thanks to Gabriella of KnotByThreadAlone  for including my cobalt agate pendant in this classy list, 'Brave, The World for Priya.'

Today I woke up to a burst of colour! Thanks Nancy of Nancenet Designs for this wonderful taste of Summer and for adding in my pastel bracelet in 'A Perfect Irish Summer, So Far.'  Despite the odd rainy spell, it has been amazing, hasn't it? Let's hope it's not over yet.

My green sea glass pendant got another feature today! Thanks again to Christa of Oilpaintings by Christa for including it in this lush treasury, 'Green Gifts.'

Tuesday Treasuries get Nautical

We seem to have a nautical theme going on here this week....

Firstly, I put together an ocean-themed treasury myself.  'Sail Away Summer' features shops from the Top Treasury Team. of which, I am a member.

Then it is thanks to Jo of DigitalFolkArt for this special treasury titled 'Beach Pottery.' It delivers exactly what it promises - a fabulous selection of beach pottery from around the world. This is a beach comber's dream come true. I'm delighted to see my brown sea pottery pendant from Ireland in the mix. There it is, on the bottom left.

May is officially the start of the Irish Summer, and if you don't  believe me, you will find more info HERE on an old blog post I wrote on the subject.  The change in seasons certainly shines through the brighter, lighter treasuries seen on Etsy.

'Just Because' by Erinn , creator of Off on a Whim Jewellery  evokes the very essence of May for me- cool seas, a fresh breeze and that first hint of Summer warmth, and sandy beaches. Thanks Erinn! I'm so happy to see my Tiger eye pendant in the mix.

I really love the subtle tones of 'Merci', tastefully picked by Mara, owner of Italian shop, Mad Rab. Thanks so much of including my Connemara marble pendant with these gorgeous finds.
