Stocking Up for Christmas

Nope, I don't have my Christmas stocking hanging up already. But I am stocking up my Etsy shop with festive Irish ornaments as fast as I can. Quite a few have gone already, some before they even reached my shop, so grab them while you can! 

My store will be closing for the holidays a little early this year as I commence a night course in a couple of weeks. So seriously, if you like what you see......you know what to do!

I have only a very limited stock of mini Connemara marble trees left already. Going, going ......

 

My Irish sea glass fairy / angels would make a very unique gift. They are not just for Christmas as they double up as sun catchers when the festivities are over.

This is the last of the flat, round disc ornaments. in Connemara marble...at least for 2014...

....and you will also find a few very unique, OOAK ornaments too. Please do let me know if purchasing as a gift.

Tuesday Treasuries

Today I woke up to a burst of colour! Thanks Nancy of Nancenet Designs for this wonderful taste of Summer and for adding in my pastel bracelet in 'A Perfect Irish Summer, So Far.'  Despite the odd rainy spell, it has been amazing, hasn't it? Let's hope it's not over yet.

My green sea glass pendant got another feature today! Thanks again to Christa of Oilpaintings by Christa for including it in this lush treasury, 'Green Gifts.'

June always brings with it, some beach pastels to get you in the mood for that annual vacation. This pretty  treasury, titled 'I'd like to be beside the seaside' by Mary Johanna of Johanna Crafts   is full of enticing jewellery and other goodies from Ireland. Delighted to see my sea pottery pendant in the mix.

Inspirations from Nature, Wicklow

My walks through the Irish countryside, up hills, and over cliffs have inspired much of my jewellery. 

Modern Connemara marble pendant, 'Landscape'

The beauty of Wicklow was the inspiration behind recently listed 'Landscape' pendant. I wrapped this gorgeous slab of Connemara marble in silver wire keeping in mind the waterfalls and hills of the county known as the Garden of Ireland.

Though it's been several months since my last hike South of Dublin, I've been following the Irish-Canadian produced TV show, Vikings, which was shot partly in Norway but mostly deep in the wilderness of Wicklow. The scenery is breathtaking. The show's not too shabby either if you like history and adventure (or just ruggedly handsome men!)
