Spanish Inspirations, Caught My Eye 19

Caught My Eye  is a series of blog posts showing scenes I found interesting, odd, curious or beautiful. Sometimes they generate an idea for a piece of jewellery or an ornament. I am not a photographer, so please do not expect top quality photography :-). But please do enjoy a glimpse of the world through my eyes.

To conclude my Spanish-flavoured theme this summer, here is a balcony detail spotted while in Granada in July. As soon as I saw it I thought, wire work for a long pair of earrings or perhaps a wirewrap design on seaglass. I'm rather fond of curling, spiralling and bending silver wire, so the ironwork instantly caught my eye. Watch this space to see what designs it gives birth to.
